About Me
I completed my Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Emporia State University.
I have been a Registered Nurse with the Kansas Board of Nursing for over 21 years. My experience includes post-surgical nursing, acute care nursing with charge nurse responsibilities, and long-term care nursing.

In 2005, I was a pioneer and integral member of a Joint Center Nursing team focusing on an integrative approach to hip and knee replacement surgeries care and rehabilitation. As part of the Joint Center, I also provided community engagement and outreach to prospective candidates.

I also served in the leadership position of Director of Nursing (DON) with a high performing retirement community which includes independent living, assisted living, long term care, and subacute rehab residents and patient services.

As part of my leadership experience, I completed a year-long leadership internship with Leading Age Kansas; while I also served in a follow up role as coach to other individuals completing the program.

I was a presenter for the 2015 Leading Age Kansas Conference. Additionally, I served as a team member initiating a long-term care facility becoming Joint Commission Certified. (Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations)

I continue to have a passion for ensuring excellent service to individuals in my care. In 2019, I realized my dream of becoming a Legal Nurse Consultant while opening my own private business of Case Correct, LLC. During November 2020, I obtained my Legal Nurse Consultant Certification via The Vickie Milazzo Institute.

The mission of Case Correct is helping people to help others through legality, education, and support.
